Cardinals Travel to Martha Thorn Pink Invitational

UofL heads to West Virginia for the Martha Thorn Pink Invitational
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville women's tennis team continues their fall season with a trip to Morgantown, West Virginia for the Martha Thorn Pink Invitational on Oct. 7-9.

The Cardinals will compete against West Virginia, Penn State, Duquesne, and JMU.

The tournament is in hidden dual format, which will give the Cardinals their first opportunity of the season to compete as a team. Play begins on Friday morning with the draw yet to be announced.Â

The Cardinals are coming off a nice outing at the Hoosier Classic. Led by Arielle Nealy who had three wins in singles and a win in doubles, the Cardinals wrapped up the Hoosier Classic with 21 wins. Tyra Richardson took home three wins at sinlges and two wins at doubles. Richardson's doubles partner Sasha Gorchanyuk won two singles matches. Cici Xin recorded four wins in doubles.Â
