Di Palma and Simova advance to doubles quarterfinals

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The University of Louisville women's tennis doubles pair of Andrea Di Palma and Tatiana Simova advanced to the semifinals of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional.

Di Palma won her first singles match of the day against Ester Adeshina from Tennessee 6-1, 5-7, 6-3. She then fell to Anessa Lee from Vanderbilt 6-7 (2-7), 4-6.

Di Palma and Simova won their doubles match of the day against Denise Torrealba and Yu-Hua Cheng from APSU 8-4 to advance to the quarterfinals. The No. 3-seeded duo plays Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. ET.
