
Louisville Lacrosse Adds Attacker Madi McKee for 2022 Season

McKee joins Louisville after spending two seasons at La Salle. She played in seven games in her shortened freshman season and then played in all 14 games last year with 12 starts as a sophomore.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's lacrosse announced they have added attacker Madi McKee for the 2022 season.

A Glen Mills, Pa. native, McKee joins Louisville after spending two seasons at La Salle. She played in seven games in her shortened freshman season and then played in all 14 games last year with 12 starts as a sophomore.

"We're really excited to add a player of Madi's caliber to our program," said head coach Scott Teeter. "She specializes in an area of need for us and I expect her to contribute right away in the draw circle. Her addition makes us a better team."

Last season, McKee tallied 25 points on 18 goals and seven assists. She led the team with 51 draw controls and scooped up 10 ground balls.

Prior to her arrival at La Salle, she was a 100-goal scorer at Garnet Valley High School in Glen Mills, Pa. She helped the Jaguars win a Central League championship as a junior and was named to the Eastern PA Girls' US Lacrosse All-American Team and First-Team All-Conference her senior year.

A two-sport athlete, she also won a Central League and District championship as a member of the basketball team.
