
Louisville Plays Host to No. 38 Middle Tennessee

Louisville, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team returns home to the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center this Thursday, April 1 to face No. 38 Middle Tennessee for their second match against the Blue Raiders. The Cardinals will then hit the road and travel up to South Bend, Ind. to face ACC foe Notre Dame on Sat. April 3 at 1 p.m.
With Thursday's match likely to take place outside, the UofL Athletic Department has released its attendance policy for outdoor matches.
BASS-RUDD TENNIS CENTER OUTDOOR ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance for outdoor matches at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center is restricted to mainly player and staff pass list. However, a very limited number of seats will be available to the general public on a first-come, first-served basis. All fans are required to have their temperatures taken at the entrance, wear masks and practice social distancing. Safe seating areas in the bleachers will be clearly marked. Admittance to the indoor facility is not permitted. If the match is moved to the indoor facility, the attendance policy will revert to the previous guidelines for indoor matches that prohibit any outside spectators.

In doubles, No. 40 Richard Ciamarra and Axel Nefve lead the team with a 5-1 record on the season. The head coach of the Fighting Irish is Ryan Sachire.

- The Cardinals (7-7, 2-5 ACC) are coming off an impressive 4-1 victory against Florida State last week. Louisville is currently on a two-match winning streak and will look to keep it going as they face the Blue Raiders on Thursday.
- The Cardinals last loss came from the hands of Middle Tennessee on March 12, when they were defeated by the Blue Raiders 4-0 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
