- Louisville falls to 42-40 in the all-time series against Western Kentucky.
- The Cardinals are now 9-17 in Bowling Green. The loss snaps a 9-game winning streak vs. the Hilltoppers and a 25-game winning streak vs. Conference USA opponents.
- The Cardinals were outrebounded 37-28 on Saturday, dropping to 1-4 on the season when losing the rebounding margin.
- Louisville tallied a season-high 13 threes made on Saturday, converting on 13-36 (.361) from behind the arc.
- The 13 threes made are the most since No.14 Louisville went 14-28 (.500) from three in an 86-76 win vs. Wake Forest on Feb. 5, 2020.
- The 36 attempts are the most since also attempting 36 in the ACC Tournament Quarterfinals vs. North Carolina on Mar. 14, 2019.
- After Western Kentucky converted 9-11 (.818) from three in the first half, Louisville limited the Hilltoppers to 0-7 from behind the arc in the second half.
- Louisville recorded 17 assists on Saturday, one shy of tying the season-high 18 vs. Navy on Nov. 15.
- Jarrod West recorded a season-high five steals, in addition to eight points and a team-high four assists on Saturday.
- The graduate transfer now has 22 steals through his first 11 games at Louisville. Saturday marked his highest steal total since recording a career-high seven while at Marshall vs. Robert Morris on Dec. 20, 2020. He now has 276 career steals, which ranks third among active players.
- West is the first Cardinal to record five steals since Donovan Mitchell did so vs. Notre Dame on Jan. 4, 2017.
- With his team-high four assists and five steals on Saturday, West now leads the Cardinals with 42 assists and 22 steals through 11 games. He has led the team in assists in seven out of 11 games.
- Noah Locke tied his season high with 20 points on 8-18 (.444) from the field.
- With his four three pointers on Saturday, Locke has made at least three threes in six games this season.
- Locke also tied his season-high three assists, which he last tallied at Michigan State on Dec.1.
- Matt Cross added 10 points to finish with his fourth consecutive game in double figures.
- Mason Faulkner tied a season-high 12 points in a season-high 25 minutes.
- Saturday marks his second straight and 61st career game in double figures.
- Roosevelt Wheeler established new career highs in points and minutes with eight points in 20 minutes of action.
- The freshman went 4-4 (1.000) from the field. His four made field goals also marks a career-high.
