UofL will compete in Murfreesboro

The University of Louisville women's tennis team is heading to the ITA Division-I Women's Ohio Valley Regional Championship at the Adams Tennis Center in Murfreesboro. The tournament will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 20, and finish Monday, Oct. 25 and is hosted by The Blue Raider of Middle Tennessee.

The Cardinals are sending Andrea Di Palma, Rhea Verma, Chelsea Sawyer, Joy Callwood and Tyra Richardson.

Andrea Di Palma, the highest Louisville seed at No. 4, will face Imani Graham of Xavier at noon on Thursday.

No. 17 seed Esther Adeshina of Tennessee will face Louisville's Tyra Richardson on Thursday, Oct, 21 at 10:30 a.m. at MTSU.

No. 9 seeded Rhea Verma of UofL will play Anna Roggenburk of Xavier on Thursday at 10:30 AM at MTSU.

Cardinal Tatiana Simova will face No. 9 seed Laylo Bakhodirova at 11 a.m.

Louisville's Joy Callwood will face Ball State's Emma Peeler at 1 p.m.
