Cards Post Stellar Results in the Classroom

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team posted a 3.566 GPA for the 2020 fall semester, marking the 17th straight semester with a collective GPA of 3.0 or higher - a streak dating back to the fall of 2012.

In addition to the team's impressive combined academic mark, all 10 student-athletes will be named to the Athletic Director's honor roll with a semester GPA of 3.0 or better. Three players: James Bell, David Mizrahi and Kyle Tang will be named to the Dean's List after earning a GPA of 3.5 or better. Tin Chen and Alex Wesbrooks achieved Dean's Scholar status with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

In addition, all 10 student-athletes will be named Red & Black Scholars while carrying a cumulate GPA of 3.25 or better.

About Louisville Men's Tennis
Louisville returns eight players from last year's squad while two newcomers joined the team in the fall. The 2019-20 Cardinals posted a 9-6 overall record and a 2-1 mark in league play during the shortened season.

With 2020 fall season canceled due to NCAA COVID-19 guidelines, the 2021 spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
