Satterfield to Auction Off Game-Worn Visor
September 13, 2020 | Football
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville head coach Scott Satterfield and his wife, Beth Satterfield, will team with a local charity for the "Visor for the Ville" program.
After each UofL victory, fans will have the opportunity win the coach's game day visor and a commemorative football that will depict the date of the game and the score of the win, with the proceeds to benefit local families.
After each win, fans will have the chance to bid on the pair of items from a Cardinal win. The money raised will benefit a local charity that the family will designate at a later date. Fans can click on the following link: https://gocards.com/auctions/index.aspx for an opportunity to bid on the hat worn by the coach in what would be another UofL victory.
Whatever the winning bid may be for those items, Satterfield will match the contribution, with all the proceeds benefitting a family in the Louisville community.
"It's a great and fun way to give back to our community," Satterfield said. "Since Beth and I have become a part of this city, everyone has accepted us with open arms and made us feel welcome. I'm exceptionally blessed to be the head coach at Louisville, and this is our opportunity to say thank you and help families in need during these very trying times."
