This week, we are getting to know Katie Bieler, a sophomore marketing major from Sarasota, Fla.

Q: What is your favorite pregame meal?
A: Oatmeal with extra, extra cinnamon sugar

Q: Where is your favorite place you have competed?
A: Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida

Q: Excluding your sport, what is your favorite sport to watch?
A: College Football, duh.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: This is very difficult for me. But my favorite at the moment is Silver Linings Playbook.

Q: What is a hobby that you have that most people do not know you have?
A: Sock hunting!

Q: Do you have any pregame rituals?
A: Jokes to lighten everyone's mood

Q: If you could pick any college to compete against, who would it be?
A: Alabama.

Q: Who is your hero/role model?
A: Meghan Farrel and Jennifer Lawrence

Q: If you could eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: A spicy chicken sandwich with no pickle from Chick-fil-A

Q: What is your favorite animal to see at the zoo?
A: Sloth, but if they don't have any sloths, I'd like to see a hippo.

Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: When people don't say bless you after you sneeze.

Q: If you could go against anyone one-on-one, who would it be?
A: MMA style probably grace, but rowing I'd pick Derek.

Q: If you could see one artist in concert, who would it be?
A: The Weeknd.

Q: What is your favorite song to sing karaoke to?
A: Fergalicious

Q: What is one thing most people do not know about you?
A: I have a lip tattoo of my name

Q: Besides your own, what is one sport you wish you were really good at?
A: Rugby!

Q: Who is your celebrity crush?
A: Bradley Cooper

Q: What celebrity do people often say you look like?
A: I literally don't look like any of them

Q: Who is your favorite fictional character?
A: Rachel Green from Friends

Q: What is your best memory/experience competing in your sport?
A: Honestly I have so many good memories. But the last week before our season was canceled was one of my favorites because it's the freshest memory I have of rowing with my tribe.

Q: Why did you choose Louisville?
A: I chose Louisville because the girls on the team made me feel like family right away and once I met Derek, I knew I did not want to spend the next four years wondering what it would be like to row for that crazy guy.

Q: How do you know coming to Louisville was the right decision for you?
A: I know I made the right decision when I hear girls from other teams talk about their experiences and I realize how special and unique my experience is.
