LOUISVILLE, Ky. - With the 2020 season unexpectedly ended due to COVID-19, we are checking in with members of the team. Up next in the series is junior Riley Schindler.

Full name: Riley Michele Schindler
Hometown: Borden, Ind.
Class: Junior
Major: Sport Administration
Post college ambition: To become an athletic director
Fun fact: Her twin sister, Paige, is a pitcher for the Cardinals. They are among 22 sets of twins playing on the same team in Division I softball.

What is your daily schedule like these days, have you developed a routine?
Working out and hanging with family.
Â
What do you do in your downtime?
Spending time with family playing cards and board games.
Â
How are you communicating with teammates, coaches, etc.?
Facetime and texting.
Â
What words of support or encouragement would you send fellow student-athletes?
Learn to be patient under circumstances you can't control.
Â
Are you doing any sorts of workouts from home?
I'm doing my mom's old Firm tapes and running. I'm also lifting in the gym in my basement.

What do you like best (or miss) about Louisville?
Interaction with my teammates.

Do you have an unusual skill/hobby?
I'm a cornhole queen.

How do you think your friends would describe you?
Funny and determined.

If you could see anyone in concert, who would it be?

What are some of the top moments/favorite memories from your career so far?
My first at-bat homerun, making a diving catch at Marshall and making it to regionals in 2019.

If you could play any sport other than softball, what would it be?
Volleyball.

Ink Master, currently on season 4.
