Thibodeau Shoots Even-Par as Cards Wrap Up Schooner Classic

Louisville returns to action October 7-8 for the Illini Women's Invitational
NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team wrapped up the Schooner Fall Classic with a final-round 292, as the Cardinals tied for 12th place with a 54-hole score of 868.

Hosted by Oklahoma at the par-70, 6,048-yard Belmar Golf Club, Texas captured the team championship with a 2-under-par 838. Tristyn Nowlin of Illinois and Frida Kinhult of Florida State earned co-medalist honors, tying with three-day scores of 3-under-par 207.

The Cards tied with TCU, one shot back of 11th place Miami and four back of 10th place Texas A&M. UofL finished one shot better than ACC rival Notre Dame.

Leading the Cardinals for the weekend was Lauren Hartlage, who finished in a tie for 25th place with a 54-hole score of 214. She carded a pair of birdies on Nos. 2 and 9, as she shot a 73 on the final day. Delaney Shah led the team with four birdies in the round as she carded a 78. Shah finished tied for 48th place with a 219.

Hana Ryskova tied for 56th position, shooting a three-day total of 221. During the final round, Ryskova carded a pair of birdies on Nos. 7 and 13, to finish the day with a 74. One shot back was Mairead Martin, carding a 75 for the day and tying for 59th. Martin also finished with a pair of birdies on Nos. 4 and 12.

Lauren Thibodeau led the Cards during the final round, shooting a season-low even-par 70. She tied for 68th place with a 54-hole score of 225. Thibodeau finished with three birdies, two of which came on the front nine, as she carded a 3-under-par over her final 10 holes.
