Cardinals Tied for Sixth After First Day of Schooner Fall Classic

Hartlage Sits in Fourth Place to Lead the Cards
NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Louisville women's golf team sits in a tie for sixth place after the first day of the Schooner Fall Classic with a team score of 290.
Hosted by Oklahoma at the par-70, 6,048-yard Belmar Golf Club, the host Sooners hold a one shot lead with a 2-over-par 282. Clara Moyano of Mississippi State leads the individual standings with a 4-under-par 66.
UofL is tied with Illinois and Houston, one shot back of fifth place Florida State.
Lauren Hartlage led the Cards with a 1-under-par 69 as she is tied for fourth place. She finished with three birdies, carding a 2-under-par on the back nine. Hana Ryskova carded a 1-over-par 71 and sits in a tie for 13th. She recorded 15 pars in the round, tied for second most among all golfers.
Mairead Martin and Delaney Shah are tied for 50th place, shooting rounds of 75. Shah finished the back nine with a 2-under-par 32, while Martin recorded three birdies, all on the front nine. Lauren Thibodeau rounded out the scoring for the Cardinals in a tie for 71st place with a 78.
The second round of the Schooner Fall Classic begins tomorrow, Sept. 28, at 9:30 a.m. ET.
