Cardinals Wrap Up Mason Rudolph Championship in Ninth Place

Cards shot a final-round 298 to finish with a three-day score of 887
FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The University of Louisville women's golf team wrapped up the Mason Rudolph Championship with a final-round 298 to finish in ninth place with a three-day score of 887.

Hosted by Vanderbilt at the par-72, 6,460-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club - North Course, Houston captured the team title with a 54-hole score of 866. Tunrada Piddon of UCF earned the individual medalist honors with a 6-under-par 210.

The Cardinals finished the tournament eight shots back of eighth place UCF and six better than 10th place Chattanooga.

For the third straight day, Lauren Hartlage led the Cards on the course, shooting a 1-over-par 73, which included four birdies. She finished the tournament tied for 14th with a 54-hole score of 218.

Mairead Martin tied Hartlage for the team lead, also shooting a 73 with four birdies. Martin finished in a tie for 36th overall with the three-day score of 223. She concluded the tournament fourth in par-5 scoring, finishing at 5-under-par on the weekend.

One shot back in a tie for 38th was Lauren Thibodeau. She finished the final round with a 76, which included four birdies. One back of Thibodeau was Hana Ryskova in a tie for 42nd. Ryskova recorded a pair of birdies on the back nine to finish the day with a 76. Delaney Shah birdied her final hole of the day to finish with an 80 and tie for 56th place with a 54-hole score of 228.

Louisville returns to action at the Schooner Fall Classic hosted by Oklahoma at the Belmar Golf Club in Norman, Oklahoma, September 27-29.
