Sophomore Alex Wesbrooks finished the tournament with a 4-0 record in singles

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Louisville men's tennis team posted 13 wins and sophomore Alex Wesbrooks was selected to the Notre Dame Bobby Bayliss Invitational all-tournament team as the Cardinals wrapped up their first weekend of the fall season.

Wesbrooks defeated Illinois' Alex Bancila 6-3, 6-3 to finish the tournament with a perfect 4-0 record in singles. Seniors Fredrik Moe and Clement Filho, junior Tin Chen, sophomores Sergio Hernandez, David Mizrahi and Juan Paredes and freshmen Matthew Fung and James Bell each picked up a singles victory to bring the final day tally to nine.

In doubles, the Cards got wins from the tandems of Bell and Fung, Chen and freshman Randy Wilson, Moe and freshman Daniel Fainblum.
