- McMahon matched a career high with four three-pointers made and was a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line.
- McMahon had a personal 9-0 run midway through the second half that extended Louisville's lead from three (41-38) to 12 (50-38).
- Following a VT three-pointer, McMahon added another of his own to complete a stretch where he scored 12 straight points for the Cardinals.
- Christen Cunningham continued his strong work at the point guard position with six assists and just one turnover.
- Cunningham has handed out 49 assists with just 10 turnovers in his last seven games.
- Cunningham has at least five assists in eight of 10 ACC games this season.
- Jordan Nwora reached double figures for the 21st time in 23 contests with 15 points on Monday night.
- Nwora made three shots from beyond the arc for the 13th time this season.
- Steven Enoch attempted just four shots but finished with 10 points in the win.
- Enoch was perfect from the outside and the free throw line, going 2-for-2 from each.
- The two three-pointers made matched Enoch's career high, set on Jan. 24 against NC State
