Michigan won the tip-off.
Louisville and Michigan met for the fifth time.
- The Cardinals now lead the all-time series 4-1.
UofL has now won 43 of the last 91 games against AP ranked opponents.

Louisville's starting five featured junior Darius Perry, redshirt-senior Ryan McMahon, junior Jordan Nwora, redshirt-senior Steven Enoch and redshirt-senior Dwayne Sutton.
- The Cards have used this lineup all eight games this season.
Louisville has won its first eight games for the first time since the 2014-15 season, when the Cards won their first 11 games.
UofL went on an 11-1 run midway through the first half, including a 6-0 run, during a stretch of 3:31.
Louisville led 28-18 at half time, it was the fewest points allowed by the Cardinals in any half this season.
- The Cards have led at halftime in all eight of their games this season.
UofL went on a 10-0 run three minutes into the second half over a 3:25 span.
- It was the 17th time the Cards have gone on an 8-0 run or better this season.
Louisville held Michigan to 43 points, the fewest by an opponent since holding Central Arkansas to 41 on Dec. 5, 2018.

PLAYER NOTES

Jordan Nwora finished with 22 points and tying a season-high with 12 rebounds for his 11th career double-double and second this season (Miami).
- He now has 175 points in eight games, the most by a UofL player in the last 20 years through eight games.
- It's his sixth 20-point game this season.
- It's his second double-digit rebounding game this year.
- Nwora played a season-high 36 minutes.
Steven Enoch recorded his third double-double of the season, and fifth of his career, with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- It's the fourth time this season he has finish with double-digit rebounds.
Dwayne Sutton grabbed 11 rebounds.
- It's his fifth double-digit rebounding game this season.
- Sutton finished with four points and now needs 17 points to reach 1,000 for his career.
- He played a season-high 35 minutes.
Darius Perry scored the first points of the game for the Cardinals on a jumper. It's the first time this season he's scored the first point of the game for UofL.
