Four Cardinal Divers Make NCAA Zone Cuts at Wolfpack/GAC Invitational

Price, Sliney, Fears and Pinto put up Zone marks

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- In a busy day of diving at the Wolfpack/GAC Invitational, UofL had four divers make NCAA Zone cuts and sent six into the finals.

In women's 3M diving, Molly Fears was second, boarding a 327.40, Michaela Sliney was fifth with a 288.75 and Brianna Price was 8th, posting a 253.15.

In the men's 1M finals, Kivanc Gur was fifth with a 291.65. Daniel Pinto was 6th with a 284.10 and Sky Geovanni was 7th with a 254.25.

Fears, Sliney and Price all made Zone cuts in their !M prelims and Daniel Pinto added his cut as well in the 1M.

No. 7/7 NC State,is hosting seven other programs for its second edition of the NC State/GAC Invitational.No. 14/RV Arizona State, No. 15/11 Duke, No. 23/13 Auburn and No. 24/19 Wisconsin are all competing this weekend. George Washington and No. 9/12 Louisville will only send divers to the meet to round out the field.
