Cards fall 5-2 on the road
The No. 28 ranked University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 5-2 to No. 32-ranked Orange Sunday afternoon in Syracuse.

The Cardinals dropped the doubles point when the No. 3 slot when Maria Tritou and Dina Hegab defeated Raven Neely and Maya Smith 6-2. Syracuse's No. 37-ranked pair of Gabriela Knutson and Miranda Ramirez defeated the No. 51 ranked pair of Mariana Humberg and Abbie Pahz 6-3.

In singles, UofL's Mariana Humberg defeated Miranda Ramirez 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). Raven Neely beat Libi Mesh (7-6, (8-6), 1-6, 6-1 to round out the Cardinals' scoring.

UofL is back in action on March 31 when they travel to Duke for a noon match.
