
No. 4 Women's Basketball Closes ACC Road Play at North Carolina on Sunday

The Cardinals and Tar Heels will tip off at 2:30 p.m. ET.
After giving up 23 points in the first quarter at Boston College on Thursday, the Cards gave up just 29 points the rest of the way as they cruised to an 87-52 win.Â
Louisville has allowed less than 59 points in 18 games this season and they are giving up 56.8 points per game, which ranks 32nd in the country and third in the ACC.
Six players scored in double figures, including all five starters, in the win at BC, as Asia Durr had 16, Sam Fuehring 14, Myisha Hines-Allen 13, Arica Carter 11, Kylee Shook 11 and Jazmine Jones 10.Â
Durr has scored in double figures in her last six games and is averaging 20.8 points, while shooting 51 percent from the floor and 18-of-40 from deep during that stretch. Fuehring is averaging 12.0 points and 6.5 rebounds, while shooting 58 percent in her last four games.
Carter is 7-of-12 from 3-point range in her last two games. She has 33 3-point field goals on the season after entering the year with just 16 for her career.
At 7-0 on the road in league play, with a win at UNC, the Cards will wrap ACC play with a perfect 8-0 road record for the second time in four years. They also went 8-0 on the road in the ACC in 2015-16, when they finished with a 15-1 league record.
Dating back to last year, they have won nine straight ACC road games.Â
At 12-1 overall in league play, UofL will win its first ACC regular season title with wins in their final three games. It will mark their first regular season title since they won the C-USA regular season title in 2001.
They have clinched a top-four seed in the ACC Tournament.
ABOUT THE TAR HEELS
North Carolina (14-12, 4-9) enters Sunday's contest with losses in their last six games. Overall, they have lost 10 of 14 after starting the season 10-2. Their last victory was a 92-86 overtime win vs. Duke on Jan. 21.
The Tar Heels rank fifth in the league with 74.6 points per game and last in scoring defense, giving up 74.0 points per game. They lead the league with a 74.5 free throw percentage.
They have three double digit scorers that rank in the top 13 in the league with Paris Kea (4th, 19.7), Jamie Cherry (9th, 15.6) and Janelle Bailey (13th, 15.0). Kea is just the fourth UNC player to score 1,000 points in the first two seasons with the program and is also Carolina's all-time scoring average leader at 18.4 points per game.
Cherry is shooting 89.3 percent (67-of-75) from the free throw line in conference games, which leads the league. Bailey averages a double-double in league play - 15.0 points and 10.0 boards a game. She has been named ACC Rookie of the Week six times.
Cherry (38.0), Kea (37.3) and Taylor Koenen (35.5) rank first, second and third in the ACC in minutes played.
