
Women’s Basketball to Participate in Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge

Play4Kay is the largest fundraising initiative of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball will participate in the 2018 Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge, the largest fundraising initiative of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
This February, Louisville fans can compete against fans from colleges and universities across the country with each free throw the Cardinals hit. The money raised will go towards the Kay Yow Cancer Fund's mission to extend and improve the lives of those battling cancer.
The Kay Yow Cancer Fund's mission is to extend and improve the lives of those who are battling cancer by raising money for research and assisting the underserved.
Louisville women's basketball is collaborating with the Kay Yow Cancer Fund by joining the Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge. They are competing against other college basketball teams around the country to see who can raise the most money for those battling cancer.

Follow Louisville's progress on the National Leaderboard. The team raising the most money will be crowned champion. All proceeds of the Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
In addition, Louisville women's basketball will host its annual Play4Kay "Pink Out" game vs. Virginia on Thursday, Feb. 22. The Cardinals will wear pink uniforms, pink t-shirts benefiting the Gilda's Club will be available for purchase and survivors will be recognized on the court at halftime.
