SERIES NOTES

Louisville moved to 2-0 all-time against Kent State with the win in Saturday's game, which marked the first meeting between the schools since 1951 at the Louisville Gardens.
The Cardinals have a 26-5 record all-time against current members of the Mid-American Conference.
Louisville's Chris Mack has a 4-0 record against Kent State as a head coach.

- Cunningham has reached double-figures in the scoring column 75 times during his collegiate career, including 71 games at Samford.
- Cunningham equaled season highs with his five made field goals, six made free throws and three rebounds. His eight free throw attempts were a season high.
Jordan Nwora recorded his third career double-double (all this season) on Saturday after scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds.
- Nwora has scored in double figures in 10 of 11 games this season and 19 times overall during his collegiate career.
- Nwora was 3-for-6 from beyond the arc marking the sixth time this season he has made at least three three-pointers in a game, including the fourth straight outing.
- Saturday's performance marked the third time this season Nwora has registered 10 or more rebounds in a game.
Dwayne Sutton scored a season-high 16 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field.
- The five made field goals set a career-high for Sutton with the Cardinals.
