- Kentucky defeated Louisville 56-10 on Saturday night at Cardinal Stadium.
- UK holds a 16-15 lead in the all-time series, including an 8-5 edge in games played in Louisville.
- Kentucky won the toss and deferred its choice until the second half. Louisville received the opening kick.
- The Cardinals registered their second highest rushing total of the season with Saturday's 226 yards on the ground.
- The 226 yards rushing for Louisville marked the second highest total allowed this season by the Wildcats, who entered the game allowing just 136.6 yards per game.

- Redshirt senior cornerback Cornelius Sturghill registered his first career interception with his pick in the third quarter.
- Sophomore linebacker C.J. Avery added his second career interception.
- Senior running back Jeremy Smith closed his career with a season high 76 yards rushing on a season best 13 carries.
- Redshirt sophomore quarterback Sean McCormack had career highs for passes completed and attempted after finishing 3-of-8 for 15 yards.
- Sophomore tight end Jeffrey Banks made his first career start.
- Tight end Jordan Davis and running backs Javian Hawkins, Malik Staples and Dae Williams were suspended for Saturday's game due to a violation of team rules.
