SERIES
•   Tuesday's game marked the first ever meeting between Louisville and Southern on the hardwood.
•   The Cardinals have an 8-0 record all-time against current members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
TEAM
•   Tuesday's game is Louisville's first unbracketed game in the NIT Season Tip-Off. The Cardinals will also host Vermont in a non-bracketed game on Friday at the KFC Yum! Center. The NIT Season Tip-Off will continue for Louisville against Tennessee on Nov. 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The event will conclude with the Cardinals facing either Kansas or Marquette on Nov. 23 at the Barclays Center.
•   Louisville is 133-21 all-time at the KFC Yum! Center, which is in its ninth season as the home for the Cardinals.
•   The Cardinals have won 67 of their last 70 non-conference games at the KFC Yum! Center spanning the last nine seasons.
•   Louisville has opened with victories in each of its first two games in 12 consecutive seasons.
•   The Cardinals have won 48 straight home games in the month of November spanning the last 28 years, including a perfect 35-0 record in the KFC Yum! Center.
•   The 104 points for Louisville were the most since they registered a 106-51 win at Pittsburgh on Jan. 24, 2017.
•   The 55 points for the Cardinals in the second half were the most in any half since they scored 55 points in the second half of an 84-42 win over Southern Illinois on Nov. 21, 2017.
•   The 49 points in the first half were the most in the opening 20 of a game since Louisville had 51 points in the first half of a 102-59 win against Bryant on Dec. 11, 2017.
•   Southern's 39 personal fouls sets a new record for a Louisville opponent breaking the previous mark of 38 fouls shared by Nicholls State on Nov. 8, 2018, Texas on Dec. 9, 1995 and Cincinnati on March 8, 1986.
•   The Cardinals were 32-of-55 from the field (58.2 percent) achieving their highest field goal percentage since making 63 percent of their shots (34-of-54) against Pittsburgh on Feb. 11, 2018.Â
PLAYER
•   Jordan Nwora led the Cardinals in scoring with a career-best 20 points, two more than his previous high of 18 against Southern Illinois on Nov. 21, 2017.
   o   With 11 field goal attempts, Nwora set a career high surpassing the previous mark of 10 achieved four times.
   o   Nwora equaled a career with his seven made field goals, also achieved against SIU last season.
   o   Tuesday's game marked the first time this season and the third time in his career Nwora has led the Cardinals in scoring.
   o   Nwora registered his 11th career double-figure scoring performance, including the second this season.
•   Malik Williams achieved a career high with his 17 points against Southern surpassing his previous high of 14 points against Pittsburgh on Feb. 11, 2018.
   o   Williams equaled a career high with his five made field goals.
   o   Williams finished 7-for-11 at the free throw line setting career highs in both categories.
   o   Tuesday's performance marked just the third career double-figure scoring performance for Williams.
•   Darius Perry finished with 13 points for his fourth career double-figure scoring outing, including the second straight.
•   Steven Enoch had 13 points on Tuesday, his second straight double-figure performance for the Cardinals.
•   Akoy Agau played in his first UofL game since Dec. 5, 2014 – a span of 1,439 days.
   o   The gap for Agau between games is the second longest in school history behind only the 1,737 days between games for Frank Epley, who served 3.5 years in the Army between Feb. 27, 1942 and Nov. 30, 1946.
   o   Agau finished with seven points on Tuesday, his highest career-scoring outing with the Cardinals.
   o   Agau also added seven rebounds, his highest total at Louisville.
•   Ryan McMahon dished out a career high six assists in Tuesday's win over Southern, one more than his previous high achieved four times.
