
Asia Durr named ACC Player of the Week

Durr averaged 28.5 points per game in wins at Western Kentucky and Chattanooga.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville senior guard Asia Durr was named ACC Player of the Week after averaging 28.5 points per game in wins at Western Kentucky and Chattanooga last week.
Durr opened her season by scoring the first 11 points for UofL as they started the game with an 11-2 lead at WKU. She finished with 33 points, which set a school record for points in an opener, on 12-21 shooting, 7-15 from deep, in just 21 minutes of action.

She followed that by scoring 24 points at Chattanooga, 14 of which came during a 30-10 third quarter. She finished 7-14 from the floor, 5-10 from deep, with three assists and four rebounds.

Durr was named ACC Player of the Year a season ago and now has been named ACC Player of the Week seven times in her career.

After opening the season with a 2-0 record, Louisville returns to action next Monday when they travel to play at Boise State. They then venture to Las Vegas to take on Arizona State and Hartford. The Cardinals open their home schedule on Monday, Nov. 26 against Miami (Ohio).
