No. 2 Louisville Travels to Face Pittsburgh on Thursday Night

The Cardinals and Panthers will tip off at 7 p.m. ET.
At 19-0, the UofL seeks their 20th win of the season when they square off against the Panthers. Head coach Jeff Walz already has the most 20-win seasons in school history with nine in 10 years. Louisville has won 20 games in seven straight seasons, which is the longest stretch in program history.
The Cardinals are coming off of a huge 100-67 home win over then-No. 2 Notre Dame last Thursday. Louisville shot 65 percent from the floor and from 3-pt range in the win, both season highs, while junior Asia Durr poured in 36 points and senior Myisha Hines-Allen added 31 more. It marked the first time in program history that two players have scored 30-plus points in the same game.
The win also marked the first victory at home against an AP Top 5 team in the Walz era.
Durr was named ACC Player of the Week for the third time this season and espnW Player of the Week for the second time after scoring 36 points on 13-of-18 shooting, including 8-of-10 from 3-point range, against the Fighting Irish. Her 36 points tied her third most in a game and her eight 3-pt field goals made are second to only the nine she made against Ohio State, which tied the school record.
She has scored in double figures in her last 11 games and has 15 double-digit scoring games this season, including nine 20-point games. She has eight career 30-point games and 31 career 20-point games. She has made at least three 3-pointers in her last eight games and is 36-of-60 (.600) from deep during that stretch.
Durr leads the ACC and ranks 18th in the country with 21.1 points per game and her 26.8 points-per-game in ACC play also lead the league. She is now shooting 50 percent (64-of-128) on the year from 3-pt range, which leads the nation.Â
Hines-Allen was named College Sports Madness National and ACC Player of the Week after tying a career-high with 31 points on 15-of-20 shooting, while pulling down 12 rebounds. It marked her seventh double-double of the season and 36th of her career, which ranks second in program history.
She averages 14.3 points, which ranks second on the team and 15th in the ACC, and her 9.8 rebounds per game lead the ACC and rank 33rd in the country. She has scored in double figures in seven of her last eight games and 14 times this season.
ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Pittsburgh (9-9, 1-4) got their first ACC win on Sunday afternoon with a 68-62 home victory over Georgia Tech. They got out to a 17-point lead over the Yellow Jackets before hanging on to a six-point win.
They are 8-4 at home, but just 1-5 away from the Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers are one of the best shot blocking teams in the country, ranking second in the NCAA with 124 total blocks and fourth with 6.9 blocks per game.
Junior Yacine Diop leads the team and ranks 12th in the ACC with 15.6 points per game. She ranks second on the team with 6.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks, and third with 2.4 assists.
Junior Kalista Walters leads the team with 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 blocks, while ranking second with 10.9 points. She is shooting 65 percent from the floor, which leads the ACC.
Sophomore Jasmine Whitney ranks seventh in the ACC with 4.4 assists.
