LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Asia Durr continued her torrid scoring rate in conference play, finishing with 28 points to lift No. 14 Louisville to an 87-57 victory over North Carolina on Sunday.
Durr, now averaging 19.7 points against conference opponents, went 10 of 16 from the field and connected on 4 of 8 from 3-point range. Eighteen of the sophomore's points came in the second half, when the Cardinals (23-6, 10-4 ACC) outscored the Tar Heels 53-36.
Myisha Hines-Allen totaled 19 points and 12 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the season, and Mariya Moore logged 13 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals.
While Louisville had difficulty stretching its lead in the first quarter, Hines-Allen made consecutive layups that sparked a 10-3 run to give the Cardinals a 34-21 lead at the break.
Back-to-back jumpers by Paris Kea and Taylor Koenen to open the second half pulled North Carolina (14-13, 3-11 Atlantic Coast) within nine points, but Durr scored eight in a row - including consecutive 3-pointers - before Bionca Dunham's bucket made it 44-25 with 4:07 left in the third and Louisville led by double figures the rest of the way.

Stephanie Watts, a sophomore guard averaging 16.8 points and a team-leading 7.9 rebounds per game, missed the game due to a bruised knee.
