The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.27 grade-point average for the 2017 fall semester.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – While the University of Louisville women's basketball team has opened the season with a 14-0 record and moved up to No. 3 in the Associated Press poll, grade point averages from the 2017 UofL fall semester reflect that the Cardinals have excelled in the classroom, as well.
The Cardinals achieved a collective 3.27 grade-point average for the 2017 fall semester, the third highest GPA in the Jeff Walz era. In addition, 10 of 12 student-athletes earned a 3.0 or better GPA.
Â
This marks the seventh straight semester that women's basketball has earned better than a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Arica Carter, Asia Durr, Sam Fuehring and Sydney Zambrotta were all named to the Dean's List for Fall 2017, earning above a 3.5 GPA.
Carter graduated with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance with a Track in Exercise Science, while Taylor Johnson completed her graduate degree with a M.S. in Sport Administration.
The Cardinals return to action on Thursday, Dec. 28 when they travel to face Georgia Tech to open Atlantic Coast Conference play.
