Women’s Golf Crowned Ladies Fall Intercollegiate Invitational Co-Champion

The Cardinals tied Kennesaw State for the team title.
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – The University of Louisville women's golf team collected its second-consecutive team title, tying Kennesaw State for the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate Invitational championship in Johns Creek, Ga.
Play for round three at the Atlanta Athletic Club started amid cool and heavy wind conditions, with gusts reaching between 18-20 miles per hour, before being canceled.
Louisville and Kennesaw State finished 36 holes – with action from Friday through Saturday – tied at 20-over-par 596. The Cardinals were coming off a victory at the Cardinal Cup the previous weekend, shooting a 13-over-par 877 to finish eight strokes ahead of Illinois.
The Cardinals, at the Ladies Fall Intercollegiate Invitational, collected team wins over Illinois and East Carolina, both schools that are ranked in Golfstat's top 50.
Olivia Cason paced Louisville, tying for third behind a 3-over-par 147. Lauren Hartlage also finished in the top 10, tying for sixth with a 4-over-par 148. Molly Skapik logged her third-consecutive top-15 finish, shooting a 6-over-par 150 to tie for 11th.
Louisville concludes a remarkable fall season, with two team titles and two additional top-five finishes.
