Freshman Clement Filho reaches singles finals
The University of Louisville men's tennis team completed day two of the Greater Cincinnati Invitational with four wins. Freshman Clement Filho advanced to the semifinals while the doubles team of sophomore Michael Quang and junior Ciro Lampasas won their first round match.

"Today was a long day with a lot of rain delays and the guys dealt with it well," said UofL assistant coach Jakob Gustafsson. "Clement (Filho) battled through some very difficult situations to now be playing the final and everyone showed great spirits by the end of the day."

In the No. 1 singles draw, Filho registered his third straight victory in the tournament with a6-5, 5-6, 10-1 decision against Carsten Fisher in the semifinals. Senior Sean Donohue fell 7-5, 6-4 to Dayton's Jordan Benjamin in the quarterfinals. Sophomore Michael Quang defeated John Benedetto of Case Western 6-2, 6-2.

In the No. 2 singles quarterfinals, Lampasas fell 6-3, 0-6, 10-7 to Eastern Kentucky's Guillem Sanches.
