LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville rowing head coach Derek Copeland has announced updates to the Cardinals coaching staff and support staff for the 2016-17 season.
Ed Oxlade was promoted to assistant coach after serving the previous three seasons as the program's rigger and director of operations and former Cardinals rower Hannah Ritter has returned to Louisville as an assistant coach. Gracie Barbara has joined the UofL rowing team as a graduate assistant coach and Addina Tritle was added as director of operations.
"I really think that we are on to something with this program. The culture is like a snowball and is careening in a great direction. This year, we have the opportunity to expand our coaching staff and continue to move this program in a positive direction," Copeland said. "I truly believe we have selected the right people that will be united enough to add to this progress."
