The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 7-0 to No. 3 North Carolina Saturday afternoon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.

UNC's No. 1 doubles pair Hayley Carter and Whitney Kay had a 6-1 win over Sena Suswam and Ariana Rodriguez. The Tarheels' pair of Ashley Dai and Chloe Ouellet-Pizer clinched the opening doubles point for the Tar Heels with their 6-3 win over Abby Pahz and Olivia Boesing.

In singles, No. 1 ranked Hayley Carter beat Arianai Rodriguez 6-1, 6-1 at first singles, and No. 29-ranked Whitney Kay picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Sena Suswan.
Marika Akkerman clinched the match for North Carolina with a court five win over Olivia Boesing 6-2, 6-0.

At No. 3 singles, No. 53-ranked Jessie Aney beat Abbie Pahz 6-2, 7-5. Tarheel Chloe Ouellet-Pizer beat Elle Stokes 6-3, 7-5 at No. 4, and Cassandra Vazquez won 6-4, 6-3 over Ola Mally at No. 6. They fall to 7-13 overall and 0-10 in the ACC for the year. Carolina advances their season record to 21-2 overall and 9-0 in the ACC.
