
Louisville Rowing Concludes Clemson Invitational

Cardinals earn runner-up finish in Sunday morning’s third varsity eight race
CLEMSON, S.C. - The No. 20 Louisville rowing team closed out the Clemson Invitational on Sunday morning with a runner-up finish in its third varsity eight boat during the second and final day of racing on Lake Hartwell.
The Cardinals 3V8+ crew finished with a time of 6:47.5 and trailed only No. 8 Texas at 6:41.5. No. 14 Washington State was third at 6:51.8, while No. 10 Michigan was fourth in the six-boat field with a time of 6:58.8.
The Cardinals also earned third-place finishes in the second varsity eight, varsity four and second varsity four races on Sunday. During the first day of racing on Saturday, Louisville earned a second varsity four win and three runner-up finishes.
Up next, the Louisville rowing team challenges Michigan on April 30 in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
