2016-17: Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll … Received 2017 Scholar Award from Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association for second time in career … Began season at second varsity eight boat before transitioning to varsity four boat … 2V4+ crew finished third at the ACC Championships … 2V8+ finished first in double dual with Indiana and Kansas and took first at the Oak Ride Cardinal Invitational

2015-16: Named to ACC Academic Honor Roll and was a CRCA Scholar Athlete… Ended sophomore season in the third varsity eight boat and earned a runner-up finish at the ACC Championship… Also competed in the 3V8+ for two wins at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational as well as races at the Clemson Invitational and ACC/Big Ten Challenge… Rowed in the second varsity four at Michigan.

2014-15: Closed freshman season in the second varsity four boat while earning runner-up finish at the ACC Championship… Rowed in the third varsity eight boat at the Clemson Invitational.

Prior to UofL: Won three state championships in lacrosse at Sacred Heart Academy… Was named as a US Lacrosse All-American as a prep junior.

Personal: Born June 20, 1996… Daughter of Kim and Paul Schmetzer… Has one sibling, Nick… Majoring in exercise science… Post-college goal is attend graduate school and study nutrition… Chose Louisville because she wanted to be close to home and it has a great athletic atmosphere.
