
Jackson Named to ACC All-Academic Team

Briahanna Jackson holds a 3.30 cumulative grade-point average and is majoring in criminal justice.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Briahanna Jackson has been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Academic Team, league commissioner John Swofford announced.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.0 grade-point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
Jackson, a criminal justice major, boasts a 3.30 cumulative GPA and earned Athletic Director's Academic Honor Roll during the fall.
The redshirt junior is averaging 11.0 points and boasts a team-leading 65 steals. She scored in double figures 22 times this season and collected at least three steals in a game on 14 occasions.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
