
Hines-Allen, Durr Named to ACC All-Tournament Team

Myisha Hines-Allen was named to the all-tournament first team.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball's Myisha Hines-Allen and Asia Durr were voted to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Tournament team, league officials announced.
Hines-Allen, named to the all-tournament first team, averaged 24.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in two games, the highest marks in the tournament this season, and shot 57.6 percent from the field and 11-for-11 from the free throw line. The ACC Player of the Year totaled 22 points and 13 rebounds in the quarterfinal victory over Georgia Tech and then posted 27 points and 12 boards in the semifinal versus Syracuse.
Durr, one of the Cardinals' top players over the final stretch of the season, was selected to the all-tournament second team. She averaged 15.0 points, with 2.0 3-point field goals per game. The freshman poured in a season-best 23 points on 8-of-17 shooting against Syracuse, while also collecting four rebounds and two steals.
The Douglasville, Ga., native, Durr is just the fourth freshman in program history to earn all-tournament honors and first since Marla Inman Eltrevoog (1994-95).
Previously, Janet McNew (1979-80 Metro All-Tournament), Stephanie Edwards (1980-81 Metro All-Tournament), and Inman Eltrevoog (1994-95 Metro All-Tournament) were selected to their respective all-tournament teams.
The Cardinals (25-7) reached the ACC Tournament semifinals on Saturday and now await their NCAA Tournament seeding, which will be announced on ESPN's Selection Monday show on March 14 at 7 p.m. Louisville will host a watch party at The Sports and Social Club downtown.
