- With his 19-yard scoring run in the first quarter, sophomore quarterback Lamar Jackson set an ACC record for touchdowns responsible for in a single season with his 48th. Jackson surpassed the previous record of 47 touchdowns by Clemson's Deshaun Watson last season.
- Jackson added another rushing touchdown and two passing scores later in the game to reach 51 touchdowns responsible for this season.
- Jackson, who finished with 171 yards on 25 rushes, set a UofL single season rushing record with 1,538 yards surpassing the previous mark of 1,429 set by Howard Stevens in 1971.
- Jackson became sixth player in FBS history with 20 passing and 20 rushing touchdowns in a single season. The previous three from Power 5 schools won the Heisman Trophy.
- Jackson set a school record with his eighth 100-yard rushing performance of the season.
- With his 21 touchdowns on the ground this season, Jackson set an ACC record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback.
- The 21 rushing touchdowns for Jackson moved him into a tie for second place on the ACC's single season leaderboard for rushing touchdowns (any position) with Virginia Tech's Ryan Williams, who had 21 in 2009.
- Saturday marked the 15th straight game Jackson has connected for a touchdown pass.
- Jackson set a UofL record for total plays in a single season with 616 (382 pass attempts, 234 rush attempts) surpassing the previous mark of 572 set by Dave Ragone in 2002.
- Jackson became the first player in FBS history to gain 1,500 yards rushing and 3,300 yards passing in a single season.
- Jackson moved into third place in ACC history in career rushing yards by a quarterback with 2,498.
- Jackson moved into sixth place in school history in career rushing yards with 2,498 surpassing Bilal Powell (2007-10), Vic Anderson (2008-11) and Deon Booker (1985-88).
- Senior running back Brandon Radcliff has moved into 10th place in career rushing yards at Louisville with 2,339 yards.
- Senior Cole Hikutini registered his eighth receiving touchdown of the season and the 11th overall in his two seasons moving him into a tie for fourth in career receiving touchdowns by a tight end at Louisville equaling the totals by Jim Zamberlan (1965-67) and Don Hockensmith (1959-62).
- The 656 yards receiving by Hikutini is the seventh most in a season by a tight end in school history.
- The 49 receptions this season for Hikutini places him in a tie for ninth all-time at Louisville equaling the total of David Hatfield in 1983.
- With his second quarter field goal, redshirt freshman kicker Blanton Creque moved into a tie for 10th on UofL's single season list with his 13th in 16 attempts this season.
