Men's Tennis Completes Day Two of Bobby Bayliss Invitational

Donohue and Lancaster pick up singles wins on Saturday

The University of Louisville men's tennis team picked up two singles wins on day two of Notre Dame's Bobby Bayliss Invitational.

Senior Sean Donohue defeated Iowa's Robin Haden 6-1, 6-1 for the Cardinals' first victory of the day. Sophomore Brandon Lancaster rebounded from a 6-2 first set loss to Notre Dame's Nathan Griffin to win 6-3, 7-5

Donohue won his first set against Iowa's Jason Kerst 7-5, but fell 6-1, 6-3. Freshman Clement Filho also suffered a pair of three-set losses, falling 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 to Marquette's Nick Dykema and lost 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 to Notre Dame's Matt Gamble.

Sophomore George Hedley fell to Indiana's Matthew McCoy 6-4, 6-3 and Notre Dame's Alex Lebedev 6-1, 6-3.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday.
