
Tennis Falls to No. 15 Clemson

The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 7-0 to the 15th-ranked Clemson at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center.
With the win, the Tigers move to 8-5 on the season and 4-1 in the ACC, while Louisville falls to 10-8 and 2-4 in the conference.
In doubles action, Clemson's No. 1 ranked Beatrice Gumulya and Jessy Rompies beat Ariana Rodriguez and Elle Stokes at No. 1 singles 8-2. The Tigers clinched the doubles point when Tristen Dewar and Romy Koelzer notched a 8-4 win on court two.
The Cardinals dropped all six singles matches in straight sets. Yuilynn Miao got the winning started with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Chloe Willets at No. 6. No. 58-ranked Romy Koelzer, playing at No. 1, won 6-1, 6-1. Daniela Ruiz clinched the match with 6-0, 6-2 over Olivia Boesing at No. 5.
The Cards return to the Bass-Rudd to face Wake Forest on March 13.
