
Tennis Falls to Georgia Tech

The University of Louisville women's tennis team fell 5-2 to No. 56-ranked Georgia Tech Friday evening in Atlanta.
Georgia Tech won the doubles point by winning 8-3 at both the No. 2 and 3 position.
The Cardinals notched wins when Manuela Velasquez defeated Natasha Prokheneska 6-3, 7-6 (7-4). Olivia Boesing scored the Cards' other point with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Alexis Prokopuik at No. 5. The Cardinals had a shot at another point but Chloe Willetts went down swinging 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (7-4) at No. 6.
The Cardinals head to Clemson tomorrow for a 3:30 matchup with the Tigers as ACC tennis action continues.
