2014-15 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Announced

The University of Louisville announces the 2014-2015 Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). This group provides a gateway for student-athletes to participate as liaisons between their prospective teams and the University of Louisville Athletic Administration.
The mission is to promote SAAC overall awareness and encourage fellow student-athletes to become involved on campus and in the community. They wish to generate a student-athlete voice that responds to proposed NCAA legislation and provides feedback to the University of Louisville Athletic Administration regarding programs designed to serve their needs. SAAC assists in the creation of implementation of programs that encourage academic achievement, health promotion and social responsibly through out the U of L campus. Most importantly SAAC promotes unity among all student-athletes.
Before the grand opening of Lynn Stadium, the SAAC sponsored its first Kick-Off Event of the year, a free tailgate for all Student-Athletes. Food, and t-shirts were provided and it gave the student-athletes the opportunity to get to know one another.
