Softball Fall Schedule Announced

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville head softball coach Sandy Pearsall has announced the 2014-15 fall schedule. The Cardinals will host two weekend tournaments along with an Alumnae Game on Sept. 26.
UofL will open the fall season on Saturday, Sept. 20 against Bellarmine at 12 p.m. and Eastern Kentucky at 2:30 p.m. The Cards will face Wallace State in a doubleheader starting at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21.
The following weekend, Louisville softball will welcome back former players from throughout the 15-year history of the program for Alumnae Weekend. The Cards will play the alums on Friday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. Former players wishing to participate or attend the festivities, please contact Lisa Pinkston at Lisa@GoCards.com or 502-852-7854.
Louisville will wrap up the fall season with a doubleheader against Campbellsville on Oct. 4 at 12 p.m. at Ulmer Stadium.
The University of Louisville softball team posted a 36-22 overall record, claimed the 2014 American Athletic Conference Championship and capped the season with the program's 11th straight NCAA appearance.
The Cardinals return six starters and 13 letterwinners from the 2014 team including NFCA All-Central Regional selection Maryssa Becker and all-American Athletic Conference team members Whitney Arion and Kayla Soles.
