Field Hockey Earns National Academic Honors

The University of Louisville Field Hockey team was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Team Award list. The National Academic Team Award recognizes those institutions that achieve a minimum GPA of 3.0 during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year.
Additionally, 13 players were named to the NFHCA National Academic squad which recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year. Earning the award for the fourth-straight year is senior Kelsey Rosenmeier. Joining her on the 2013-14 National Academic squad are: Stephanie Byrne, Elisa Garcia, Lotta Kahlert, Becca Maddock Mallory Mason, Rachel McCarthy, Paige Monsen, Hailey Netherton, Jennifer Pels, Elina Pereira, Gianna Perrone and Shannon Sloss.
