Team Notes
- With the win, Louisville now has a 63-8 record at the KFC Yum! Center.
- Head coach Jeff Walz has an 83-18 record in non-conference games while at Louisville after the victory against Lafayette.
- The Cardinals extended their nonconference regular season home game win streak to 18. It began on Dec. 8, 2012, against Valparaiso.
- Louisville's win over the Leopards gives the school its first versus an opponent from the Patriot League.
- Louisville's 102 points mark the 18th time in program history that the Cardinals have reached the century mark as a team. They are a perfect 18-0 all time when reaching triple digits. The Cardinals last reached 100 points on Dec. 17, 2013, when they beat Ball State 105-67.
- The Cardinals registered their sixth double-digit victory of the season.
- Louisville had seven players score in double figures, the most since eight players scored at least 10 points against Wagner on Dec. 21, 2012.
- Louisville grabbed 20 offensive rebounds, the eighth-consecutive game with double digits on the offensive end (extends to the 2013-14 season; 10 versus LSU on March 30, 13 against Maryland on April 1).
- Louisville's bench produced 37 points, pushing the season average to 27.7 points from the reserves.
- Louisville's 56 first-half points marked a season high. Scoring 46 in the second, the Cardinals have scored at least 40 points in each half four times this season.
- Louisville totaled 26 assists in the victory, the most since the Cardinals dished out a season-high 28 versus Ball State on Dec. 17, 2013.
- The nine 3-point baskets made by Lafayette are the most by a Louisville opponent in either of the last two seasons. Connecticut and Kentucky each netted eight against the Cardinals in 2013-14.
Player Notes
- Bria Smith scored the 1,000th point of her career with a basket at the 14:25 mark of the first half. She has now scored 1,008 points in her four-year career, becoming the 24th member of Louisville's 1,000-point club.
- Jude Schimmel made a career-high four 3-pointers in the victory. Her previous career high was three against Loyola-Chicago on Nov. 9, 2013.
- Mariya Moore registered her first career double-double, scoring 11 points and dishing out 10 assists. She becomes the third Louisville player to record a double-double this season.
- Myisha Hines-Allen scored a career-high 18 points and made nine field goals, another career-best.
- Megan Deines scored a season-high 11 points and had a team-best three steals.
- Sara Hammond was 5-for-5 from the field, scoring 11 points with one 3-pointer.
- Shawnta' Dyer came off the bench and pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds in 14 minutes of action.
