Tess Clark Named ACC Freshman of the Week

Louisville freshman middle blocker Tess Clark earned this week's Atlantic Coast Conference volleyball honor as Freshman of the Week.

Clark led the Cardinals to two wins over the weekend, scoring 32 total points. In a marathon match against NC State, Clark carried the Cardinals both offensively and on the block by contributing 17 kills with a .538 hitting percentage. Against the Orange of Syracuse, Clark was just as impressive with 10 kills and a hitting percentage of .529, while adding three digs. The freshman's weekend hitting percentage of .535 has boosted her to a No. 16 national ranking in the category.
