Track and Field Wraps Up Hoosier Hills Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville track and field's Michelle Kinsella continued her undefeated streak in the high jump, and the Cardinals wrapped up their time at the Hoosier Hills Invitational with five top-10 finishes Friday evening in Bloomington, Ind.
Kinsella, who set the school record in the high jump earlier this season at 1.85/6-0.75, has reeled off four-straight wins in the event. On Friday, she cleared 1.83m/6-0 for the victory. The Whitby, Ontario, native heads to the BIG EAST Indoor Championships next week with the top mark in the high jump.
Louisville also received a top-five finish in the jumps area from Kim Cardeiro, who took fourth in the long jump.
Hannah Baker was the Cardinals' top finisher in the weight throw, taking seventh, while Liberty Slinden placed ninth.
Louisville returns to action at the conference's indoor championships in Geneva, Ohio, next weekend. The event, which runs from Feb. 16-17, will be held at the SPIRE Institute.
