| Throughout the week, UofLsports.com will present a new category for the "Best of 2011" to be voted on by you, the fans. The polls will be open throughout the week, and the final votes will be tallied and announced at a later date. Remaining categories consist of team win of the year, team of the year and alumnus/alumnae of the year. Past categories you are still able to vote on are individual performance of the year, coach of the year, student-athlete of the season and newcomer of the year. *** The 2011 athletic season was another year filled with remarkable accomplishments for the University of Louisville. These selected teams had performances that ranked among the best in their respective program's history.
