
Women's Golf Moves Up Three Spots in Second Round

San Antonio, Texas - The Louisville women's golf team shot a 290 in the second round of the Alamo Invitational at the Briggs Ranch Golf Course in San Antonio, Texas on Tuesday. The Cardinals moved up three spots to ninth place with a score of 591 in the second round. Oklahoma still remains in the lead with a score of 563. Texas A&M is in second with a score of 571 and UTSA is third with a score of 573.
Sophomore Emily Haas led the Cardinals in the second round, carding a 69. Hass is currently tied at second with a score of 139. Sara Beth Davis of Texas A&M leads the field with a score of 137.
Junior Tara Lyons shot a 70 in the second round. Lyons is currently tied at 15th with a score of 144. Sophomore Katie Petrino shot a 74 in the second round. Petrino is tied at 59th with a score of 155.
Freshman Laura Restrepo is also has a two round score of 155, tying her at 59th with Petrino. Restrepo carded a 79 in the second round. Freshman Meghan Theiss shot a 77 in the second round. Theiss is currently tied at 68th with a score of 158.
The Cardinals will wrap up play with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
