Louisville, Ky. - Louisville sophomore Anna-Karin Ljungstrom was recognized as Junior of the Year at the 12th Annual U of L Student Awards Banquet on Monday evening.
Ljungstrom is a redshirt sophomore for the Cardinals and ranks second on the team with a 75.7 stroke average. She has registered a career-high three Top 10 finishes this season along with one Top 20 finish. She shot her collegiate low of 213 in the Las Vegas Collegiate in the fall.
She is a junior academically and carries a 3.746 GPA while majoring in psychology.
