Michael Eaton to Miss Remainder of Indoor Track Season

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville men's track athlete Michael Eaton will miss the remainder of the 2011 indoor track season with an illness, head coach Ron Mann announced Friday.
"We're sorry that his indoor season ended this way," Mann says. "We're looking forward to the outdoor season, with great pride and anticipation."
Eaton competed at the Notre Dame Meyo this year in the 5,000m and finished 11th out of 34 runners. He was slated to compete at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships in the 3,000m and 5,000m races. Eaton, who earned outdoor All-America honors in the 10,000m in 2008, has eligibility remaining to compete in the 2011 outdoor season.
