Louisville Head Coach Anne Kordes
(Opening Statement): "Congratulations to Purdue. They hosted a fantastic Championship game. We are proud of how well we did this season, but disappointed in how it ended. I thought we matched up well with Purdue, but they did a heck of a job tonight. They matched our outsides, passed great, stayed in system, and all their hitters were unstoppable and hit consistently."
(On Tiffany Fisher's play tonight): "She is so consistent. She hit up the middle, the slot, cross court, and the line. She isn't flashy, but she is steady and strong and does a good job. We had a lot of errors tonight, and I think it was because of her play."
(On slowing down Ariel Turner early but not for the whole game): "Her level of play is just too high. She is the smartest player I have coached against. She can adjust well, especially in the third and fourth sets tonight. Once she gets the lay of the land, then she will find ways to score. When you slow her down, then you open up play for another player to get hot."
Lola Arslanbekova, Junior Outside Hitter
(On tonight's game): "Purdue did a very good job blocking and attacking the high ball. It was hard to find a way around the block. They had a very good serve receive and they are just a good team."
Caitlin Welch, Sophomore, Libero
(On blocking Purdue): "Purdue's setter spread the offense well. Our game plan was to slow Ariel Turner, who was struggling. We just didn't execute well to tonight."
